Open Evening: 21th January 2010 6-8.30pm
I would like to invite you and your son/daughter to attend our Sixth
Form Open Evening. The evening will take place here in our
Sixth Form Centre at the Towers School. The Sixth Form here at the Towers
is now one of the largest in Kent, with over 300 students. In our recent
inspection Ofsted commented that “The quality
of teaching and learning is good and is underpinned by the
very good relationships which exist between students and their teachers” and
that the Sixth Form “provides a good standard of education and care,
and effectively meets the wide range of needs and interests of students.” (read more...)
Myself and all members of sixth form teaching staff will be available
to discuss the wide range of courses we have on offer and to give
you additional details about subjects and the suitability of them
for your son/daughter.
In addition to this I will give a brief talk and DVD presentation
at 7pm in the Enterprise Centre. You may choose to visit departments
before and after the presentation. We will be providing you with
the new Towers Sixth Prospectus along with information about the
new on-line application process on the evening.
I look forward to meeting you on 21st January.
Yours faithfully,
David Leddington
